Description

A timeless seaside scene: This painting is inspired by a work depicting a typical day at the beach, where elegantly dressed families enjoy the sea air and coastal scenery. A picturesque and lively atmosphere: On the beach, groups of people, dressed in period clothing, sit on chairs or blankets. The women wear long dresses and ornate hats, while the men are dressed in suits and hats. The colors of the clothing, ranging from blues to blacks with touches of beige and white, add visual richness to the scene. A small white dog wanders freely, adding a touch of life and movement. In the background, sailboats glide across a calm sea, while parasols and beach tents are arranged to provide shade for the bathers. A tribute to Eugène Boudin, a precursor of Impressionism, with its touches of light and soft colors that capture the unique atmosphere of the Normandy beaches. The slightly veiled sky and the reflections on the water reinforce the impression of serenity and tranquility.
