Yellowtail farming in Japan

Yellowtail amberjack farming in Japan is carried out in floating cages in sheltered coastal areas. The scene takes place around 1980 in the Owase region of Mie Prefecture. It depicts a fish farmer preparing to feed bait to the fish, which is eagerly awaiting it.

I studied Japanese aquaculture, and this scene particularly interested me because of its originality and aesthetic appeal.
