Escape

Two figures are lost in thought on the decks of their yacht, anchored near the coast in calm waters.

Here, I wanted to capture the magical power of sailing to encourage introspection and sometimes withdrawal, especially in calm seas and at a standstill.

• Oil on canvas stretched over a wooden frame, 50x63x2 cm; the edges are painted, everything is ready for hanging.
