Scene from a Camargue bullfight, stage 3. The raseteur (bullfighter) is gored in the chest. He risks everything to snatch the prized attributes: ribbons, pompoms, and rosettes, placed on the bull's forehead and between its horns, according to a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. He uses a metal claw extending from his left hand for this purpose. The key is to avoid being caught by the formidable horns of this swift and powerful animal.
